We are changing the game!

Hey everyone! We are GRID 307, a local veteran owned company and we are here to change the real estate industry as we know it.

Hi! My name is Melissa Gladson, I co-own GRID 307 with my husband, Brock. I moved to Casper, Wyoming on my birthday in 2019. I left the warm 70 degree weather of southern New Mexico to a blizzard here in Wyoming. Since you might not know me, I don’t like the cold or snow, so it was a great welcome/birthday present. As this blog goes on, I hope you get to know me better and I want to get to know everyone else!

Brock and I started GRID 307 officially in May of 2022, but had been working on the systems and technology since early 2020. It has been a process full of 18+ hour work days, working at kids sporting events (we have 3 kiddos, ages 10,7,5), we would work at the pool while the kids played, at the park, at jump craze, we have literally worked everywhere on this. We have worked so much and still continue to work non stop on this business. The years have been full of blood, sweat, and tears through this process but it has been so rewarding. Now, enough rambling, let’s get to the good stuff!!

How are we changing the game? We have 3 key pieces that are important to us.

The first? Technology. As a millennial, I remember days with out google and I remember the first day we had internet at our house. Watching my dad try and figure out AOL instant messenger to talk to my older brother was hilarious. Our cell phones were bricks that were indestructible and our computers were huge and boxy. I’m amazed that in my lifetime I am seeing technology the way it is now and it’s still improving every day.
At GRID 307, we are using technology to help our clients. We’ve developed a system that works with our lenders and title companies to help make the job easier, even if it’s just a tad easier. GRID 307 technology helps ensure each transaction is being processed and no details are being missed. Our technology also helps maintain structure which helps hold all agents to the same standards and operate consistently through out our company.

Education is a huge part of being in real estate. Brock works hard to make sure GRID 307 has job related weekly trainings. We do hands on job training to make sure we all fully understand the aspects of real estate. A huge part of education is also making sure that our clients are educated so they are able to be confident with their real estate transactions and are comfortable during the entire process.

The next part is what I’m most passionate about and I definitely saved the best for last.

Community! The Air Force was a huge part of mine and Brocks life. The most impactful aspect of the Air Force and Air Force fire department was the community. I never realized how important that was to me until we came back to civilian life and felt lost with out that. If you come work at GRID 307, you will be part of the big family we are creating. We are always there to help each other and look out for one another. You have a sick kid that needs to go to the doctor and don’t want to take the other kids? Bring them over! You need someone to drop some soup off because your entire family has a cold? Give us a call! We want our clients to feel like part of the family as well!
Wyoming is a truly incredible place. I couldn’t imagine a better place to raise my kids. Casper has such a strong and wonderful community that we love being part of. Brock and I have so many ideas that we want to do here in Casper and hope to one day soon start bringing these ideas to life.

This blog is going to be about much more than just real estate. Follow along for real estate, our life updates, our favorite recipes that are most commonly asked for, our 1,000 hours outside journey, and all things entrepreneur/small business. It’s a bumpy ride, but I am so excited to share all our experience with others and get to hear your knowledge and experience as well!
